“Life is messy, it’s painful, it’s tiring, but that is only the bad. In the good parts of life it is funny, beautiful, smile inducing, inspiring, it’s happy. We have to get through the bad to savor each taste of the good. We have to keep trying, even when we just want to give up. We have to be the backup generator in our lives when the lights stop working and we find ourselves in the dark.”

"So keep your head up high, and dust off your shoulders." <3

I adore this woman! She’s beautiful and such an inspiration! So sad that I missed her concert tonight. :( She’s performing this Sunday in Estero, FL but that’s all the way down by Fort Myers, so far away! That’s okay though, next time I will go for sure!! <3

This is for everyone out there battling/living with a chronic/invisible illness.
I want everyone to know that they are worth it. No matter what you’re going through, stay strong. “It’s just a bad day, not a bad life.” We can get through this. We are strong enough to live this life, that’s why God chose us to live it.
I, not only have one, but two chronic illnesses, and yes it sucks. But, I’m not going to sit around and be negative about it. I’m going to be optimistic and be positive about it. Having diabetes and celiac disease is actually a blessing is disguise. It made me stronger, and without a doubt, the person I am today.

"Courage isn’t having the strength to go on; it is going on when you don’t have the strength."
